What They’re Saying

Coach Streety on Nate Askew…
“He’s a tremendous athlete with great leaping ability and great hands. He turned into a real hard worker and a great leader for our team. My only regret is not being able to get the ball in his hands as much as we needed, and wanted to. In a perfect world, even though we were a running team, he should have caught 60 or 70 balls this year. We just weren’t able to make it happen. Nate never complained about how many touches he was getting. He has a really good team attitude. I’m really proud of how much he’s matured in the last year or so.”
