A lot of that can be attributed to the job the coaches at Westfield High School do. Jonathan has also been very committed in the classroom. He knew exactly what he had to get done and he followed a plan and used all the tools and resources we provide to our young men. When I say ‘committed,’ he was in the classroom during every mini-mester and every summer session. It’s hard for 18-year-old kids to sacrifice their summer and winter breaks, along with giving up the family time that goes along with that. He did it because of his goals and where he wanted to be. It’s an awesome experience as a coach to watch him have this opportunity to play at Texas A &M and to see what he can do to help their program. There’s not a doubt in my mind that he’ll be a graduate of Texas A&M and I fully expect to see him do great things for that program.”
