The Aggie Soccer Stadium

IMG_1904Texas A&M is home of the best gameday atmosphere in NCAA Soccer.  The Aggies are averaging crowds of over 3,500 in 2009; that’s 100+ more  people than available seats in the stadium!

The 12th Man has a long tradition in Aggieland, dating back to the 1920′s, when E.King Gill was asked to come down from the bleachers and stand ready (by the coach) to go into an Aggie football game.  Ever since, the student body of Texas A&M stand ready to help their beloved Aggies on gameday.

The Aggie Soccer Stadium holds the national record for the largest regular season crowd – 8,204 when the Aggies beat North Carolina in 2006.

This December, A&M will host the 2009 NCAA Women’s College Cup.  But don’t wait until then to come visit Aggieland and get a first hand experience of that incredible Aggie Spirit!
