National Signing Day

It’s the first week in February! So for college athletic departments all around the nation, it’s time to announce and celebrate the recruiting and signing of this year’s high school seniors to their university. National Signing Day is February 3rd for Football, Soccer, Track & Field here at A&M. Obviously, most of the buzz and excitement revolves around the team which averages more than 70,000 fans per home game, but it’s also a big day for us and our good friends at the Anderson Track complex. In this week’s journal I’ll talk a little bit about national signing day, but also will hit on some other soccer issues happening for our kids and program, plus some national movements in Women’s Pro Soccer, the NCAA and the Big 12.

Family Time!

Now that the Christmas Season is here, I’d like to thank everyone once again for all the support you’ve provided our players, staff, and families. At this time of year its especially gratifying to see how the A&M Soccer Family has flourished and grown over the past year. Many of my staff and former players now have kids, some only recently born, and we’re very excited about those families and the promise of their futures.
